Data We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not require you to create an account or sign up.
  • We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal contact information.
  • We do not connect to your crypto wallet or access your funds.
  • We do not store any transaction data you enter into the calculator.

Analytics Data

We use PostHog (a product analytics tool) and Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use ChainCost. This helps us improve the tool. These services may collect:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Browser type and operating system
  • Approximate geographic region (country-level, derived from IP address)
  • Referring website (how you found us)
  • Device type (mobile, desktop, tablet)

This data is aggregated and anonymized. We do not use it to identify individual users.
